General servicing is the ordinary maintenance visit — the one most units need, most of the time, and the one that prevents the more expensive treatments later.

What a general service covers

• Filters removed, washed and refitted
• Coils and fan blower checked and cleaned
• Drainage cleared and tested
• Cooling performance and refrigerant pressure checked

How often

In this climate, units in daily use benefit from regular servicing. Units that are cleaned routinely rarely need a chemical wash; units that are left for years usually do. That is the whole economics of it.

If your unit is already cooling poorly or smells musty, general servicing may not be enough on its own — say so when you call and we will tell you what it is likely to need.
